Robert Ozn (born Robert Mitchell Rosen, New York City) (records under the name DaDa NaDa; Broadway credits as Robert Rosen; personal nickname OZN, (pronounced “OH-zen”)) is widely credited, along with his partner Ned “ĒBN” Liben, to be the creator of the first commercially released and charted record ever made with a computer in the United States, ĒBN-ŌZN’s “AEIOU Sometimes Y” (Elektra Records, 1983). The video for “AEIOU” remains one of the most iconic and widely seen music videos to come out of the MTV era sustaining 40-plus years of non stop broadcast via a combination of prime time television, online platforms, club play and cable T.V., including its re-signing to the recent reboot of “Beavis and Butt Head” on Paramount T.V.  

 

A Top Five Billboard and Top Ten Music Week, U.K. recording artist, screenwriter, producer and Broadway actor, in addition to being the vocal half of ’80s synthpop duo ĒBN-ŌZN; he’s known for his solo act, Dada Nada, which continues to generate hit chart positions in the U.S. and U.K.; and for his work as a writer/producer of the award-winning, human rights-themed feature film I Witness starring Jeff Daniels, James Spader and Portia de Rossi.
